Ladispoli

At the edge of Ladispoli,
Look as far as the eye can see,
And you'll find her there,
Lying curled in the sand
At the edge of the sea.
At the edge of Ladispoli,
Waiting for she knows not what to free her,
Watching and waiting, watching and waiting,
Seems like an eternity.
On the other side of the sea,
Had Jesus watched these same grey waters,
What would there be?
Would these waves crash down so hard on me. . .
At the edge of Ladispoli.

But can you feel this ache turn into hope.
(something's coming)
And can you feel the warmth flow through you.
(feel it coming)
And can you feel there's more to do than cope.
Can you feel it.
